Ken Featherstone is running for reelection to serve as mayor of Indianola, Mississippi. In his time as mayor, Featherstone has prioritized a five-point plan to improve the city, focused on reducing and preventing crime, providing more services for youth, supporting the health and wellness of seniors, investing in economic development and committing to better public relations. Some of his accomplishments since entering office include raising the minimum wage for city employees, establishing numerous community events to provide safe social activities for youth and creating a Community Emergency Response Team to support residents affected by severe weather events and natural disasters.
