ATLANTA – The SPLC Action Fund today endorsed J.D. Rice for mayor of Valdosta, Georgia. Rice served for nearly two decades as Valdosta Fire Chief.

Rice in his run for Mayor of Valdosta,” said Madison Hollon, program manager of political campaigns for the SPLC Action Fund. “J.D. has demonstrated his commitment to the citizens of Valdosta through his tenure with the fire department and his advocacy for progressive change.”
